Software Registration

A. Why register your software?

Registering the Serial Number (S/N) of the Key of your copy of the software, under your name, gives you the following privileges:

  1. It protects you in case you lose your Software Key, where a Software Locking System is available, as we can issue a new Software Key to replace the lost one.
    Please notice that this applies only to registered Software Keys and does not apply to USB/Hardware Keys (dongles). For more information about your USB/Hardware Key (dongle), please have a look at the software’s EULA (End-User License Agreement) found under the About menu of your software.
    We reserve the right to discontinue the Software Locking System, in which case, we shall provide, at our sole discretion as to the choice, a Hardware Key or a perpetual activation code
  2. It provides you with the option of free of charge remote-repair of your Hardware Key, in certain cases of hardware malfunction.
  3. It makes you eligible* to a replacement of your damaged Hardware Key, in case it is not possible to retrieve the S/N of your copy from said damaged Key.
    *For more information as to the detailed conditions upon which you are entitled to a Hardware Key replacement, please refer to the software’s EULA (End-User License Agreement) found under the About menu of your software.
  4. It allows you to access the Members Area in our website, which features training videos and supporting information for users.

B. How to register your software?

To register your software you will be asked to fill in an on-line form with some personal data of yours, such as name/company name, address, phone number and e-mail address. Please notice that using accurate data and a working e-mail address, allows us to confirm a legitimate purchase of the software, to then proceed with providing a replacement copy in case of loss of your Software Key. The serial number of your copy of software (S/N) is automatically retrieved by the software during the registration process, as well as the operating system (O/S), installation path and software build, at the time of registration, to facilitate your technical support when you reach out to us.

C. Registering your software vs joining our mailing list

Registering your software and joining our mailing list to receive news and updates are two different things. You can choose one or the other, both or none.

If you wish to have the privileges of having your software registered as explained above, under A, but prefer to opt out from our mailing list, make sure you choose to Unsubscribe instead of Unregister.

D. Unregistering your software

If you wish to have your personal data deleted from our Software Registration database, you may do it either by using the Unregister option from the Help menu of your software (where available) or by contacting us at contact@drawstitch.com
Please have in mind that unregistering your software means that

  1. we no longer have the means to verify that you are the owner of a certain Software Key, so that we can replace it in case you lose it
  2. we cannot provide remote-repair for your Hardware Key, should you need it
  3. you may not be eligible to a Hardware Key replacement where applicable and
  4. you can no longer access the Members Area.
