Resolving “Network Error 99” or “Network Error 499” in the Software Key Login Tool for DRAWings
If you encounter Network Error 99 or Network Error 499 when using the Software Key Login tool in DRAWings, follow the instructions below for your operating system (Windows or macOS) to resolve the issue. These steps involve restarting the Software Key Login service and deleting specific files that may be causing the network error.
For Windows PC Users
- Close the Software Key Login Service:
In the taskbar, right-click on the Software Key Login icon and select Quit to close the service. - Delete Configuration Files:
- Open Windows Explorer by double-clicking the My Computer or This PC icon.
- Navigate to the following folder (you can also copy the path below, paste it into the Explorer address bar, and press Enter):
C:\ProgramData\Wings Systems
- Inside this folder, delete the files named extra.ini and SoftKey.bin.
- Restart the Software Key Login Service:
- Go to the following folder:
C:\Program Files (x86)\WingsSystems
- Locate and double-click on the SoftwareKey.exe file to restart the Software Key Login service.
- Go to the following folder:
- Log In with Serial Number and Activation Code:
- When prompted, enter your Serial Number and Activation Code in the Software Key Login window, and then click Activate.
- Your software should now be activated, and you are ready to use DRAWings.
- When prompted, enter your Serial Number and Activation Code in the Software Key Login window, and then click Activate.
For macOS Users
- Close the Software Key Login Service:
In the Mac menu bar, right-click the Software Key Login icon and select Quit. - Delete Configuration Files:
- Open Finder.
- Go to the following folder:
Mac HD > Users > Shared > Wings Systems
- Delete the files named extra.ini and SoftKey.bin.
- Restart the Software Key Login App:
- Open DRAWings by double-clicking on its icon. A message will inform you that you are not logged in.
- Click OK to proceed, and the Software Key Login window will appear.
- Log In with Serial Number and Activation Code:
Enter your Serial Number and Activation Code in the respective fields and click Activate.
After successful activation, you can now run DRAWings.
