Instructions for Witches Hat Napkin Weight.
Materials - felt, threads, hand sewing needle, scissors, fabric glue, felt, raw rice, a small piece of card(opt), ribbon (opt), freezer bag or dissolving backing, tearaway or iron on backing.
- For the hat2 draw file, hoop fabric (felt) and a dissolving stabilizer or a plastic freezer bag, since this needs to be disposed of later. Once stitched, cut around carefully.
- For the hat 1 file, hoop tearaway stabilizer or iron on and the felt.
Cut out once stitched.
- For the hat 'cone' glue or stitch by hand the part circle to make cone shape. (Now is the time to add a ribbon loop if wanted).
- Sew running stitches to gather and fill with dry, raw rice. If you wish, you can cut out some card and put that over the rice before gathering tightly to close.
- Use fabric glue to glue the cone onto the centre of the hat base.
- Use to keep the napkins from flying away at your halloween parties.
